Woman on probation for animal cruelty charged after 1,700+ animals found in home; 53 found dead

Lynn Kubick, who was serving probation for a conviction in 2016 that led to the closure of Jurassic Pets, was found to have 739 mice, 589 rats, 277 hedgehogs, 203 snakes, five lizards, five dogs and two litters of cats. According to police, they also found 44 dead mice, four dead rats, two dead hedgehogs and three dead snakes. Police say the woman did give up several of the animals needing medical attention to people who were searching the house.
