IDF soldiers bombard Gaza as fighting continues

Footage has been released of Israeli soldiers firing artillery into Gaza on Wednesday, as fighting continues following Saturday’s Hamas attack. The soldiers were based near Sderot, one of the Israeli communities attacked by Hamas gunmen, where militants reportedly captured a local police station and killed dozens of civilians.

Over 1,000 people have now been killed in Gaza as a result of Israel’s retaliatory attacks, while Israeli authorities say at least 1200 of its citizens have died during the fighting.
