'There were moments when I thought I'm going to EXPLODE!' | Romelu Lukaku on nightmare summer

Romelu Lukaku lifted the lid on Wednesday on his summer transfer ordeal before joining Roma.

"A lot of bullshit.. There were moments when I thought I'm going to explode. I think, five years ago, I would have done it," said Lukaku after being asked about his experience over the summer.

The 30-year-old forward is on international duty with Belgium, who face Austria on Friday in their Euro 2024 Qualifiers.

"I'm going to wait for the right moment. People said a lot of things about me this summer but I will talk at the right moment," he said.

"You will be surprised," Lukaku added, hinting at the difficult circumstances of his departure from Inter Milan.
