Recoil starter rope replacement on Harbor Freight Predator 212 Engine

Sometimes these projects go smoothly. This engine was on the used Trac Vac I bought. When I bought it, I had in my head, that engine will need replaced soon, that was 12 years ago. This is the first real maintenence I've had to do. Exhaust replacement/ upgrade to follow.
