Gaza residents reel after Israeli reprisal strikes

Israel pounded Gaza on Wednesday (October 11), to root out Hamas after a surprise attack days before. More than 1,000 people have been killed in retaliatory airstrikes in the blockaded enclave and about a quarter of a million people are now homeless, according to Hamas authorities.
