Hurricane Irma: NE T-F 1 Nebraska Guard, power and rescue crews prepare to assist in Florida

62 OPPD workers assisting in Florida. Lincoln Electric System also has crews in Florida; they have been assisting in Tallahassee. Nebraska National Guard members arrived in Jacksonville today. Nebraska Task-Force 1 members are still staged at Eglin Air Force Base, east of Pensacola, awaiting specific orders from FEMA. Their urban-rescue equipment has already been put to use.
