Young's pro career got off to a rocky start as he started in the USFL and moved on to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when the league cratered. He went 3-16 as a starter in Tampa before being traded to San Francisco after the Bucs drafted Vinny Testeverde in the '87 draft. Young's career really took off after an injury to Joe Montana and the rest as they say is history. 7 pro bowls, 2 Super Bowls as a starter and a Hall of Fame induction in 2005.
