Dem Rep. Raskin Claims He Has’ Not Seen Any’ Anti-Israel Comments from Democrats

Reporter: “Do you think Democrats are unified in their message that Israel has a right to defend itself? A couple of your colleagues have called for a ceasefire, called for de-escalation, referred to Israel as an apartheid state. Do you think Democrats are unified in their support for Israel?”
RASKIN: “Yeah, we’re absolutely unified behind Israel’s right to exist and Israel’s right to defend itself. And we’ll be standing strong with Israel.”
Reporter: “What do you make of the comments from your colleagues that — that sort of indicate otherwise?”
RASKIN: “Well, I just — I haven’t seen any of those. And all that I’ve heard is a very powerful consensus that we need to stand by Israel as it defends itself.”
