How to Make A Production (Find Locations, Create A Schedule For A Shoot, $10,000 shoot!)

I started as a freelance photographer, and now I'm learning how to put on bigger shoots as my clients need more an more from me.

In this video, I'll show you the key aspects of my process that allows me to successfully put on projects like this.

1)
Have an AMAZING core team.
Having a great group of people who are dedicated and have great work ethic will take SO much pressure off of your shoulders (as long as you communicate the vision correctly)

2)
Hire professional talent, not 'friends'
Hiring professional talent takes the pressure off of you to coach the talent. Professional talent usually has more experience, and great instincts for what to do. They've trained themselves on how to smile, how to position their bodies, etc to look best on camera.

3) Hire many assistants.
I typically don't have assistants, or I only have 1. For this shoot, I had 3.
The first two were extensions of my arms, to go grab stuff, change set pieces, handle hospitality, and more.
The third had one single job: Maintain the schedule. She walked around keeping pressure on everyone's backs, letting us know what time it was, how much time we had, etc.
