Reg ‘ol News
Writer’s Strike - The Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) have reached a tentative agreement to end the writers’ strike that began on September 4, 2023. The deal includes significant gains for writers in terms of minimum compensation, residuals, streaming rights, diversity, and health care. The WGA’s negotiating committee and board of directors have unanimously endorsed the deal and urged the members to ratify it. The ratification vote will take place online from September 28 to October 1, 2023. If approved, the new three-year contract will be retroactive to May 2, 2023.

Suggests
Mortal Kombat: Deathright - https://youtu.be/NeBY0MESbZo MORTAL KOMBAT: DEATHRIGHT is a self funded, non profit short film. This was put together by an incredibly small crew who loves MK, and would like to make other short films based on various properties. Deathright is our love letter to the 90s era of Mortal Kombat (games and movies), as well as 80s/90s action films. I hope everyone has as much fun with it as we had making it. Thank you for all of the support!
