This morning we renewed our wedding vows with 43 other couples. The captain presided. So, I guess we are on our honeymoon again.
Two more days until we reach land again. Then we visit a port each day until this flight lands in Rome on day 15. Then the real adventure starts. I’m having a blast. Roz not so much. The entertainment is scanty because they are hiring performers back from COVID-19 layoffs and she doesn’t drink much. I’m having a blast because I do, and the bands all sound better after a few adult beverages.

I did a guided meditation this morning after jogging. I’ve gone for a half hour run or “hike” each morning, except one, since we set sail. It has been quite a challenge to get out there because you need to be on the track before sunrise to avoid the walkers and wanderers and we have set the clock forward on five different nights. The time of sunrise is also effected by where in the time zone the ship is. Returning will be much easier. It is a seven night cruise. On five of those nights we will set the clock back, so we will gain an hour. I’m sure there will be a circadian nightmare we aren’t preparing for, but oh well.
I did two videos for my grandsons today. I don’t have access to YouTube on the crappy wireless, but bas soon as I can post them there, I’ll share them here. They will be on my regular account, not this page. I am going to post them to as many social media sites as possible, because you never know which ones will be around in the distant future.
Tomorrow morning this trip becomes much different. At 6:00 AM, Africa will be to starboard and at 7:20 AM, the Rock of Gibraltar will be to port- right outside our room. Then we sail along the south and east coasts of Spain. Our next port-of-call is Mallorca, Spain.
When we get there these posts will be much different. The hours and hours at sea will be gone. We stop at a port on days 12, 13 and 14 and then get off in Rome on day 15. It will be action, action, action…
