"Home"
In Western Newfoundland, where nature's at its best, Lies the Humber Valley, a place we're truly blessed. With a palette of colors in the vibrant fall, A picturesque landscape that enthralls us all.
Corner Brook, the heart of this rugged land, Where the Bay of Islands meets the shore's grandstand. A city with a paper mill, standing tall and strong, For nearly a century, where many belong.
The mill's smokestacks rise, like sentinels of old, A testament to industry, stories yet untold. Generations of families, their roots run deep, In the Bay of Islands, where memories they keep.
The Humber River flows, its waters crystal clear, Reflecting the beauty of autumn's frontier. Maple and oak, birch and pine, In this tapestry of colors, a sight divine.
The people, so kind, their hearts pure and true, With warmth and hospitality, they welcome you. They've raised their families in this rugged place, A testament to strength, resilience, and grace.
So, let's raise a toast to Western's grandeur, To the Humber Valley, forever a treasure. In Corner Brook's embrace and the Bay's gentle sway, The spirit of Newfoundland shines bright every day.
