To benefit the experienced practitioner, this voice ony, traditional Yoga Nidra follows the Hatha-Satayanda formula for Yoga Nidra, developed first by Swarmi Satyananda Saraswati in 1981.

Recorded by William Forde for Perth Yoga for Everybody in 2018 for a public 3 day Wellness Expo (convention) in WA where the yoga nidra scripts were read in daily sessions to particiants there as an free open-event.

Yoga Nidra in its modern form was developed as an adaptation of initiated disciplines and Hatha practices that yielded more than control of ones own energy, exercising the psyke after settling/occupying the mind. The honoured formula for yoga nidra, including the technical positioning, setting, pace, tone and ability to convey trust in whatever way that is required, makes a yoga nidra work and is hosted here for you to simply use or whitness. I dont want donations for this type of content.

These minds are hard monkeys to convince in terms of beliefs and desire/habbits. A monotone or non sincere tone in anyway faking it just wont work, in my opinion as I have found that minds need belief systems and charachters to play along with even though we say we know that it is all bullshit (I mean a ride). Let my voice by like yours. Just a voice.

Remember, the practice of yoga nidra is about being in the place between wakefullness and sleeping.... that place where you are just about dropping off.... the mind is busy running its self and you feel happy... once you fall into that place stay there by continuing to listen to the voice.
