Storm Shield Forecast morning update 09/11/17

The active weather threat continues today, and the Storm Prediction Center has included the Kern desert and mountains in a "marginal risk" for severe thunderstorms today with thunderstorms possible in the Kern valley as well. In areas where thunderstorms form, we'll have the risk heavy localized rain that could lead to flash flooding, gusty winds, dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning and small hail.
