After the GOP took control of the House of Representatives following the less-than-landslide Republican victory in 2022, rumors began circulating about a plan that could potentially bring Donald Trump back to the White House. Prior to the upcoming 2024 presidential elections, there were whispers of him being named Speaker of the House of Representatives, making Trump second in line to the presidency, right after President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. This scenario would place the 45th President in a position to return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, should both Democratic incumbents be impeached or unable to continue serving
