For full disclosure (longer story involving the shirt) I was cut from the greek organization/rush process. I was something they didn't want and I made peace with it. I briefly discuss some of my rush experiences "Why I dropped Alpha Phi Omega". Keep in might Alpha Phi Omega isn't panhellenic, it's a service organization.

I'm seeing a lot of the abolish greek movement in my daily feed as an adult. As an outsider I enjoyed getting to know frat brothers and sorority sisters, seeking to build camaraderie and social connections as a non member. Speaking for myself, I did not experience any racism during my frat party days and they are the few good memories in college. After reading many of the stories from the abolish greek movement, and people reaching out to me personally? I wonder if I experienced any racism during the bid process. Grades or not haha. I didn't have the money they were looking for at the time.

If I was offered a bid today I would turn it down. Being the only child growing up I don't mind doing things on my own and plan on dying a single b*****. Just keeping it real. I enjoy being with crowds but equally love my solitude.

At this point I refer people/cousins that want to get into greek life to people that made it through the whole greek process. If they insist I'll help, but I really want to distance myself from as many school and college things as I can.

Now that's out the way.

I like animals better than people. Please pray for that squirrel. As an animal love I hate seeing them get hurt.

I have 5 outdoor cats. Charlotte Midnight is the one I'm building the strongest bond with.
