San Diego Sports Arena project: Midway Rising. Marni von Wilpert angry at Stan Kroenke

The San Diego Sports Arena site is going to undergo a radical change in the next few years. We can expect market rate housing, affordable housing, a new arena and much more. The original plan allowed Midway Rising developer Stan Kroenke to include middle income housing for people making between 80-120% of the median income, but that was taken off the table. Those units will be market rate. This is due to surging mortgage interest rates.
