18-year-old shot and killed on Vinewood Avenue on Indianapolis' west side

A 13-year-old boy was shot and killed near the Castleton Square Mall Saturday evening. The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the parking lot of Long An 18-year-old man was shot and killed on Indianapolis' west side late Saturday evening. The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. in the 4100 block of Vinewood Avenue. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers on the scene said they arrived to find one man who had been shot. That man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
