3. **Death of Empress Isabel:** The death of Empress Isabel, witnessed by Francis Borgia, made a strong impression on him, leading him to renounce his worldly glories and decide to enter the Society of Jesus.

4. **Permission to Enter the Society of Jesus:** St. Francis Borgia asked Emperor Charles V for permission to enter the Society of Jesus. Charles V granted his permission, recognizing the virtue and piety of Francis Borgia.

9. **Act of Thanksgiving in Church of Gesù:** After the encounter with Pope St. Pius V, St. Francis Borgia and the Jesuits entered the Church of Gesù in Rome, next to the Jesuit house, to make an act of thanksgiving before the Blessed Sacrament.

10. **Legacy of St. Francis Borgia:** St. Francis Borgia's dedication to the Papacy and his Catholic spirit left a lasting impact. His life exemplified nobility, virtue, and combativeness in Catholic Spain during a turbulent period in the Church's history.
