The Frog Song was written in 1975 to play at a park presentation in Palos Verdes, California.
The beginning of the song uses open position chords and then gets jazzy in the middle, with a very interesting chord progression at the end that is great for developing chord skills and strumming when played alone or with a friend.
Written in 1975 by Hal Stead, you can get this song in the Quail Studios Music and Lead Sheets book (song book).
