Shoulder Stability / Impingement Series Part .1

What I have felt with my own body and from Jiu-Jitsu is that the posterior deltoid is massively overlooked when it comes to shoulder stability and impingements.

What I have seen is typically a synergistically dominant posterior deltoid for the external rotators like supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor.

Get rid of any trigger points in the deltoid with a lacrosse ball, someone’s elbow etc. Clean it out completely. Then get a light dumbbell, go into scaption which is about 30 degrees in front of the midline and go up and down at a slow tempo. Rep that movement until failure.

If you have a shoulder impingement or lack of shoulder stability give this one ago. @callankrause
