Sheriff Richard Mack fought the federal government when the Clinton Administration told him and other Sheriffs they had to implement The Brady Bill as federal law. Believing this was unconstitutional, Sheriff Mack and six other Sheriffs sued the Clinton Administration. Their case went before the U.S. Supreme Court where the winning decision was handed down, establishing the right of the county Sheriff to uphold Constitutional law and to be the line of defense against anti-Constitutional federal law.

The CSPOA was founded in 2011 by Sheriff Mack to teach Sheriffs, police, all public officials, and citizens, the authority and responsibility that exists under our U.S. Constitution to which all public servants take an oath to protect and defend. CSPOA also focuses on legislation nationwide that threatens the rights of Americans.
