Mission 2: New Friends, Old Problems

Given by: Bonnie MacFarlane

Summary:
Left to die by the occupants of the fortress, John's injury smolders under the western sun. A trail of blood stretches away from the fort, indicating his attempts to rise a couple of times.
Eventually, he abandons the effort just a few meters from his starting point. An unfamiliar man and woman halt their carriage nearby and notice John.
After confirming signs of life, they lift him into their carriage and head back to town.
It's at this point that you'll meet a fair-haired woman named Bonnie. She paid a hefty $15 to cover your medical expenses after discovering you.
Now, it's time to repay that debt.
Following some amiable banter, control over the recovering John returns to you, and Bonnie is marked as a blue dot on your display.

The mission culminates in a cutscene as John and Bonnie ride toward the modest building where you're presently housed.
After exchanging temporary farewells, John enters the building, offering an opportunity to familiarize yourself further with character control.
This time, the context is confined to your own abode. By resting in the bed, you can save your progress and restore health, much like in the Grand Theft Auto games.
The chest adjacent to the bed is stocked with ammunition for your convenience, among other things.
So, when you're prepared, settle into bed, save your progress, and recharge. Tomorrow promises an array of fresh tasks for you to tackle.
