Italians rally against mass slaughter of pigs after ASF outbreak

Hundreds of animal rights activists marched in Milan, Italy in protest against the mass slaughter of pigs in an animal shelter following an African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak. The protesters voiced their outrage after it was revealed that Italian authorities had ordered the slaughter of nine pigs last year because they lived in an area hit by an outbreak of the disease.
