In the war-torn Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine's determined army continues to advance on a key battle line stretching from the Bakhmut area to the Avdiivka-Donetsk front. In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, important steps are also being taken near Novoprokopivka.
According to the latest information from the Institute for the Study of War, Ukrainian troops have gained positions in Donetsk Oblast, just 40 meters from a strategic railway line. The Russian army, on the other hand, has launched massive armored vehicle attacks against Ukrainian troops near Andriivka and reports that fighting continues unabated in the "gray zones" in this area.
On the Avdiivka-Donetsk front, Ukraine continues to conduct limited offensive operations and has made some gains. In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Ukrainian troops achieved significant successes. In particular, Ukrainian forces made marginal progress in Novoprokopivka, about five kilometers southeast of Robotyne. Along the Orikhiv-Tokmak route between Robotyne and Novoprokopivka, Ukrainian troops held firm positions.
The Russian military, for its part, has been subjecting Ukrainian troops to intensive shelling along the Robotyne-Kopani line, and some Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces had advanced into Russian defense trenches over the past day. These clashes are also reportedly continuing in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and some areas have been recaptured.
All these developments indicate that Ukraine has made significant advances in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
