I wanted to inform you about an important meeting on October 17th regarding changes to the land use map along Fairview Road. Unfortunately, these changes might limit our chances of attracting good businesses to North Henry County. The community has been asking for nice restaurants and stores in the Fairview Commercial Corridor, and finally, we're seeing progress. But now, the Henry County Board of Commissioners seems to be hindering future development in our community.

We've put effort into improving roads, building parks, and installing sewers to attract medical facilities, restaurants, and shops. Our community has become a popular destination, drawing visitors from all over the metro area. Before 2010, this area was recognized as an activity center. It's disheartening to see the Board of Commissioners trying to reverse our progress and affect residents who have been discussing their properties for years.

The meeting on October 17th aims to change the commercial corridor into low-density residential. If you want to see our community grow positively, I encourage you to attend this meeting and make your voice heard. Our community deserves a representative with knowledge, experience in corporate leadership, and a proven track record of success. This is the way to keep moving our area and county forward.

Positive development in businesses and quality of life will make our community even more appealing to live in and visit. Our area has been growing thanks to good initiatives and past investments in infrastructure. Property values will continue to rise naturally due to real market forces.

Let's work together to ensure our community keeps thriving.
