I was honoured recently to get together with Cathy O’Brien, Max Lowen and Doug McIntyre for a discussion on resilience, our spiritual gifts, and healing.

I have been attacked by trolls and other survivors alike for laughing during interviews and expressing joy.

Having a nightmare childhood is one thing. Allowing it to ruin the rest of your life is another. I refuse to remain the victim ‘they’ tried to force me to be.

Cathy, Max and Doug embody the fact that we can not only survive horrors, we can transcend them. Moving on to do what our souls came here to do – fulfil our life purpose.
