There We Are With The Power

The Mayor opens up Saturday with an interesting combination of James Taylor and Joe Simon for the Segue City Special as we all roll into the weekend... it may have been a slow week in Lake Woebegone but it was certainly busy around here so we fully plan to use up all of the weekend with see food and other delights... or put another way - just another day in Paradise...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
