Rep. Jordan Reacts to Trump’s Endorsing Him for Speakership

Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio)—who is running to become the next House speaker—spoke to a CNN reporter on Friday about how he views the race, and how he plans to position his candidacy. He also responded to former President Donald Trump’s late-night endorsement of him for speaker. President Trump praised Mr. Jordan in a post on his social media platform Truth Social in the early hours of Friday. “Jim, his wife, Polly, & family are outstanding—He will be a GREAT Speaker of the House, & has my Complete & Total Endorsement!” President Trump wrote in the post.
