Berlin, Germany isn't New York City! (Part 1)

New York City is only a City! Berlin is a German State, a Capital of Germany, and a City all in one!
One-fifth of Berlin is forest, 60 percent of the city's surface is green, and seven percent is water. So you don't have to go far to be surrounded by nature. There are more than 15 forests in Berlin.
Berlin is one of the greenest cities in Europe: About a third is taken up by parks and green spaces, and more than 430,000 street trees line the streets.
Post-war, reforesting the ruins became an act of restoration and resilience. The first linden was replanted in the Tiergarten in 1949 by Mayor Ernst Reuter, during the Soviet blockade of West Berlin. The replanting effort was judged to be so important for morale that, along with essential food and fuel supplies, up to 200,000 young saplings were flown into the divided city by the U.S. Air Force.
Berlin has many big and little Rivers.
The Dahme River has a length of 95 Km. From Alt-Köpenick, Berlin to Langer See, Kolberg.
The Havel River has a length of 371 Km. Havel cycle path leads from its source in Ankershagen in the Mecklenburg Lake District to its mouth in the Elbe near Gnevsdorf in the Prignitz District.
The Spree River has a length of 380 Km. Spree River rises on the Lusatian Mountains at the Czech/Germany border and it meets the Havel River in Spandau, Berlin.
