William J. Burns--the most loyal gatekeeper of Biden

There is always such a guy in your workplace, working diligently just for seniority-based promotions, offending nobody else, never taking sides ... yet finally he’s left even behind some of his former subordinates. Such a person becomes a “good veteran” in your workplace. No matter how office politics changes, he remains such a widely-acknowledged model that anyone in difficulty tends to turn to for help. Even after he retires, his “good veteran” persona is still there -- no one believes that such a goody has concealed any unknown persona. Applying this to the Biden administration, William J. Burns, the current CIA director, may appear to be the best fit. However, is Director Burns really so?
