Low Carb Lifestyle Hub podcast

As husband & father, highest priority is to be able to provide
for & protect family...
-work hard to provide well for family
-be physically capable of protecting family in all circumstances
Considering the day would be grandfather...in decade or so
-the kind of grandpa I want to be...
"My health matters more than just to
my own interests--playing sports, but
for family & community.
Steps I can take to help, I want to do"

Question: How have your thoughts on health changed?
-have benefited from being biomedical scientist...
-able to rely on cold, hard data
For years, I thought, like most that key of health was:
-be calorically balanced--watch calories & how much expending
-as well as, avoid saturated fat
Change:
-NOW: no one should count calories
[how much we eat matters, but it is
taken care of if we are mindful of
our macronutrients]

For men: well-done studies have tracked testosterone levels
& sperm production in men who deliberately adopt low fat diets...
[what we have been told to do for decades]
Results
-lower fat intake: lower testosterone & lower sperm production
"The less fat a man eats, the less
manly he becomes, unfortunately"
