Dave Filoni isn't being fired. More Filoni content is on the way. But to say that people are enthusiastic about future Filoni stuff is a major stretch. The Ahsoka series and its finale has been such atrocious writing that The Mandalorian movie may already be so damaged as to be financially unviable. We are now at a point where Filoni -- once seen as a Star Wars scribe who could save the franchise -- is producing Willow-level drivel. Are there people who will enjoy Ahsoka? Yes. Are there people who would go watch The Mandalorian movie? Sure. But that number is shrinking dramatically.
