First impressions. Jesus starts His public ministry at the Feast of Passover with the cleansing of the temple. Despite all of the miraculous signs Jesus performs the continually demand of Him "a sign from heaven". In their efforts to accuse Him they continually hold the Sabbath above mercy and sacrifice. As Jesus reveals their hypocrisy they continue to harden their hearts.
