On Tuesday, a judge issued a restraining order following Donald Trump’s social media and public attacks on a law clerk working for the judge, amidst the former president’s trial for alleged business fraud in New York.

Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron imposed a gag order, declaring, “I am issuing a restriction on all parties from making public statements or comments regarding any member of my staff.”

He emphasized that personal attacks against his staff were neither acceptable nor tolerable.

The judge’s ire was provoked by Trump’s social media post earlier that day on his Truth Social platform, in which he made disparaging remarks about the clerk, CNBC reported.
