This is my homebuilt tumbler. Built out of 3/4 in plywood. I used 3/4 cold rolled steel for the shafts, and some cheapo pillow block bearings from Amazon. The motor is a 1/3 hp 1240rpm 120v. I purchased the appropriate pullys and belts to get the rpms down to acceptable tumbling ranges. I have an adjustable pitch pully o. The motor shaft, so I can fine tune it if necessary.

My best advice would be not to skimp on the pillow block bearings. The cheap ones are noisy, now im building an insulated room in the basement for it. Hehehehe

Can fit pretty much any configuration of factory made barrels from various manufacturers. It runs the larger barrels at roughly 30 rpms and smaller ones around 40 rpms. I prefer the covington barrels.
