From the "Lost and Forgotten Pilots Department," here's another such example, from 1980 - the complete broadcast of the NBC Network's "Alone at Last" as aired over WMAQ Channel 5 (A little bonus will follow.)

It's interesting to note that NBC aired two unsold pilots with the same title over that same summer. This was the first, with Bill Daily (formerly of I Dream of Jeannie and The Bob Newhart Show) and Virginia Vestoff (formerly of such daytime soaps as The Doctors and Dark Shadows; alas, this was to be her final TV appearance, as she died two years later) as parents whose son (Michael Horton, years away from playing nephew Grady Fletcher on the long-running Murder, She Wrote) blindsides them (as they're preparing for a trip to Europe) by announcing his intention to marry a woman twice his age. Also features Elaine Joyce (who seemed to be in everything during this period) and Francine Beers.

(The other Alone At Last, which aired over two months later on September 3rd and was a second attempt at this premise, starred Susan Bay and Eugene Roche as parents who attempt to cope with the uncaring attitude of their son - a pre-Saturday Night Live Dana Carvey - and make him more responsible; both dealt with the same family, only with different actors, and the parents' first names differed from the one seen here. The later burned-off pilot has yet to turn up.)
