Filmed from a drone and on the ground, this footage gives a good introduction to a 3 team squad hasty attack, with an initial enemy position and depth position.

The Texas class is an annual alumni class in February / March. In terms of the ground used in this video, it takes place on a working ranch, and there are directions in which we cannot shoot. Hence the use of left flanking in the assault. Range limitations. Additionally, the point team patrolling down the hill towards the initial enemy fighting positions was done deliberately, so that they could practice a break contact back up onto the hill. There are many things a squad leader could have done if this situation was for real, and these options are talked about at class. The training priority was to run a sequencing attack against two enemy positions, and the lack of cover / concealment is useful from an overall student learning and understanding perspective.
