In Episode “Mind of Miz Bible Study (Romans) #36 Romans 15:30-33” available below, we discussed the commendation of Phoebe and dove into the question which now makes up the title of this episode: #10 The Role of Women in Ministry.
This episode is a follow up on the actual Bible Study . I only give myself about an hour to get through a Bible Study before we jump into our live Q&A which you can be a part of by joining at: https://www.mindofmiz.com/romans and I was not able to get into the details of the kinds of ministry women do in the church.

This topic is vast and can be controversial. I have done my best to present my arguments Biblically and will continue to develop my thoughts on this. My initial reason that I dove into the subject was the amount of erroneous teaching that I found that permeated churches regarding Phoebe in Romans 16:1-2 which was the scripture we were covering as we come near the end of our Romans Bible Study. And while I could have taken the less controversial road and praised Phoebe in her service to the church and moved along, I felt it would be a dereliction of duty to not talk about the elephant in the room.

So, for better or worse, I dove into the subject, prayerfully and trying to understand the arguments on the other side. I would highly recommend that you watch/listen to the first episode first before giving this a listen so you can hear my full scope of argument.
