DOOM

Doom (stylized as DooM and later DOOM) is a series of first-person shooter video games developed by id Software. The series, which takes place in an apocalyptic dystopian universe, revolves around an unnamed space marine who works for the UAC (Union Aerospace Corporation), fighting legions of demons and undead in order to survive and, later, in history, save humanity.

Since the release of the first game in 1993, the series has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. The series produced several sequels, as well as adaptations into novels, comic books, board games and films.
