Welcome to Day 274, October 1st, 2023. We start now in 1 AD, after the 400 years of silence. The Birth of John the Baptist is foretold. The Birth of Jesus is Foretold. The virgin Mary, betrothed to Joseph, visits her cousin Elizabeth, who miraculously conceived John. Mary gives a song of praise to the Lord. John the Baptist is born and Zechariah's prophecy of him is declared. John introduces Jesus as the Word of God, who was God Himself, and how the Word became flesh. The Testimony of John the Baptist is given. John called Jesus the Lamb of God. The first disciples of Jesus Christ are called by Him.
