In this episode, we sat with Georgi Petrov, Senior Associate Principal at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and a prominent Space Architect to discuss SOM's installation for “Unknown Unknowns,” the 23rd Triennale Milano International Exhibition titled:

DECALOGUE FOR SPACE ARCHITECTURE
TEN SPECULATIONS ON DESIGN FOR AN INTERPLANETARY FUTURE

The installation which is a captivating immersive audiovisual explores ten crucial themes that designers must consider when envisioning a permanent and sustainable presence for humanity in space.

Based on an essay that emerged through thought-provoking conversations with renowned astrophysicist Ersilia Vaudo and a team of brilliant architects and engineers at SOM, this installation pushes the boundaries of our understanding of what it means to design for outer space.

Special Thanks to Julia Pollak, Elizabeth Krasner, and the team at
Skidmore, Owings & Merrill for their generous support in producing this episode
