Chicken Sliders Recipe By CookingwithHelly
Here's a basic chicken sliders recipe:
Ingredients:
For the chicken patties:
1 pound ground chicken
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper (red or green)
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Cooking oil for frying
For assembling the sliders:
Slider buns
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Red onion slices
Pickles (optional)
Mayonnaise or your favorite condiments
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, finely chopped onion, finely chopped bell pepper, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
Form the chicken mixture into small patties, about the size of your slider buns. Make sure they are evenly sized for even cooking.
Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add a little cooking oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a golden brown crust. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
While the chicken patties are cooking, you can lightly toast the slider buns in the oven or on the skillet until they are slightly crispy.
To assemble the sliders, spread mayonnaise or your favorite condiments on the bottom half of each slider bun. Then, add a lettuce leaf, a chicken patty, a tomato slice, red onion slices, and pickles (if desired).
Place the top half of the slider bun on top, and use a toothpick to secure the sliders, if needed.
Serve your chicken sliders hot with your favorite side dishes like french fries or coleslaw.
