Cancerous Creep Slowly Killing Our Golden Goose

Urban developments have been rapidly eating up our highly productive land over the last 20 years.

These productive areas tend to be on the city fringes due to the flat terrain and good soil - so, less need for irrigation and fertilisers.

Unfortunately, these are the areas often seeing urban and residential expansion.

Are governments and councils putting enough thought into this?

Richard believes they are simply taking the easy option, killing our golden goose in the process.

And, with our much-talked-about mass-immigration issue, should we expect to see this cancerous creep accelerate over the coming years?

Surely we need to take steps to ensure we don’t further erode our food production ability… but, as we’ve seen in recent years, that is the least of our government’s concerns.
