Drunk 23 Year-Old Woman Arrested DUI After Hitting Parked Cars | Blue Patrol Bodycam

On March 20, 2023, Lakewood Police Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident. When they arrived on the scene, they noticed several parked cars had been hit. One car had the rear wheel assembly completely severed from the vehicle. They then noticed that the 23 year-old female driver responsible for the damage was in her car on the phone with the police dispatcher. After attempting to gather some basic information from her, she was asked to step out of her vehicle and she was placed in the back of one of the police vehicles. Eventually, she was requested to perform some standardized field sobriety exercises. Despite her displaying her best ballerina skills, she was placed under arrest for DUI. Once she was placed in the back of the police car, she attempted to Face Time her mother. It then took two police officers several minutes to get her cell phone out of her possession. The conversation between the woman and the transporting police officer while enroute to the police station is priceless. Court records show that the female driver pled guilty to Operating a Vehicle under the Influence.
