Chronological Bible in a Year 2023 - September 30, Day 273 - Malachi

Welcome to Day 273, September 30th, 2023. We read the Lord's Word speaking through the prophet Malachi. Israel is doubting God's love for them. The Lord rebukes the Priests for their dealings and the polluted offerings they offer to the Lord. Judah profaned the covenant. The Lord will send a messenger who prepares the way for Him. The priests have been robbing God of His Tithe. The faithful remnant will be remembered. The Great Day of the Lord draws near. This marks the end of the Book of Malachi and the Old Testament. There is now 400 years of silence until the beginning of the New Testament.
