The last supermoon of the year, also known as the Harvest Moon, brightened up the skies over Iran’s capital.

The Earth’s satellite appeared larger than a regular full moon, an effect caused by its being at its closest point to Earth, known as the perigee, making it appear 14% larger and up to 30% brighter than a typical full moon.
