Lost and Found Cat

Lucas and his mother decided to take Whiskers a lost Cat home till his rightful owner is known. They gave him a small bowl of milk and some food, which the hungry cat devoured gratefully. Lucas's little sister, Emma, was overjoyed at the sight of the new furry friend.
They put up a "Lost Cat" posters around the neighborhood with a picture of Whiskers. They hoped that someone would recognize him and provide information about his owner. After some weeks Lucas, Emma, and their parents couldn't imagine life without their newfound friend.
