Reflect on the countless fairytales that have been passed down through generations by our parents and us. Notably, not all of them concluded with a happily-ever-after. Some tales depicted children being harmed or even murdered as part of dark sacrifices. Examples like Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, and The Pied Piper illustrate this theme.

It's intriguing to note that seductive treats often played a role in these stories. Over the years, these tales have subtly warned us about the danger of being deceived by malevolent forces disguised as bearers of delicious gifts.

For a deeper understanding, I recommend researching the history of Jack-o'-lanterns, as there might be intriguing connections to these cautionary tales.

In the spirit of Hosea 4:6, "People will perish due to the lack of knowledge," it's essential to reflect on the lessons embedded in these stories and recognize the value of wisdom in safeguarding ourselves and our loved ones.
