Telling stories is an important part of developing language fluency. At ALC we do a lot of storytelling. This video was researched and written by the students. After practicing pronunciation and choosing images, we put it together to share their story with you. Thanks for watching!
ALC is a non-profit school in Little Rock, Arkansas. We teach not just language, but also American culture. Newcomers to America can make an important contribution, if they are assimilated. We didn't make that effort with the Native Americans, or with the freed slaves, and the result has been poverty and social unrest ever since. ALC is making the effort now, to grow a new crop of real Americans. Ummm...donations are always welcome...
